Anna Jäger, Greek/German artist and author, born on October 26, 1987 in Bremen. Grew up in Athens. She studied movement therapy n Athens, dance and theater educations in Germany and in 2016 she received the ,,German scholarship for talented and high-performing students”. She was in Bremen Theater as a performer in the production “Für 4” by Birgit Freitag, which won the German theatre prize “Der Faust”. Anna Jäger performed with the art collective ,,sineumbra” by Luisa Eugeni in Kunsthalle Bremen, Fabriano and Venice, among others. She was recently seen in Björn Beton's (Fettes Brot) film noir short film and in Hannes Rademacher's "szene report" on ARD. She regularly gives creative workshops for children and young people. She started writing as a child. She received a writers scholarship and wrote her debut novel ,,Ganz normale Tage/ Ordinary days” by Marta Press Verlag. Her first children's book about her son with autism, "Was sieht Paul? / What does Paul see?" published in 2024, Marta Press Verlag, illustrated by Florian Bosum. Anna Jäger has been touring in Germany and Switzerland with her books since 2023. Next stops will be in Munich, Düsseldorf and at Leipziger Buchmesse. She will perform with the group ,,sineumbra” at Biennale 2024 in Venice. Further book and performance projects are planned.
